I'll start...

#1 Allman Brothers Band. Buffalo Chip Campground (Sturgis, SD.) it was 2001 the atmosphere was amazing. They played two encores one for clapping fans and two for when ALL the bikers gunned their Harleys!

#2 Warren Haynes & Gregg Allman. Morrison CO. (Red Rocks) I can't recall the year, 2006 ish? The Allman Brothers Band was sharing the top spot with Gov't Mule over Friday/Saturday. Warren & Gregg come out with acoustics and some lamps (living room vibe?) and run through around seven songs - my favorite J. Browns 'these days'.

#3 Widespread Panic & Allman Brothers Band. Chicago, IL. I cannot recall the venue (by the lake, Verizon?) I think it was 2008. The bands swapped headliners on Friday/Saturday. Both bands had members playing together and Buddy Guy sat in for acouple. Great two nights!

  1. Rolling Stones - All 18 times I seen them
  2. George Thorogood and the Delaware Destroyers (sometime mid to late 80's in Vancouver. He played in this little lacrosse stadium for almost 4 hours. They never allowed another concert there afterwards)
  3. Bruce Springsteen - Vancouver Born in the USA tour. High energy. Love it.

"The Wall" The real one by Pink Floyd at Nassau Coliseum. "Dark Side of the Moon" at Madison Square Garden (enough said). I'll have to throw in one of those early day Springsteen at the Garden when my ears rang for two days after sitting close to the stage and thinking the place was gonna come down.

1. Bob Dylan (rolling thunder revue) ...back when Hurricane album was out. Was never much of a Dylan fan until then.Small college hall and was just blown away by the whole show.
2. Led Zeppelin(boston garden 1969?) ....my 1st time at a concert.
3. Jeff Beck (beck, bogart, and appice) Tremont Hall?Boston) Have been a huge Jeff Beck fan ever since.
Amazingly I have never seen the Stones live.Kind of embarrassing to say about my favorite band of all time.

Easily been to over 100 concerts in my life, most of them years ago so difficult to pick just 3. Although very easy to pick the best one I have been to. Not necessarily the best musically but easily the best atmosphere and entertainment wise. Saw Elton John and Dave Mason on July 4,1976 at Foxboro Stadium. Unbelieveable show!!

Others Ive seen that stood out...

REO Speedwagon(seen too many times to count)
KISS(saw them 5 times)
Van Halen
Yes
Doobie Brothers
Eagles(with Heart and Little River Band at Yale Bowl)
Bee Gees(yes, they put on a great show)
Jethro Tull
BTO
Bruce Springsteen
Aerosmith
Santana
Journey
Collective Soul
